In summary: Life's meaning is found when i realise that this life is not the only existence that i will know. According to Jesus, this life is a preparation for next life. In that this life should be fully lived with the next life and it's entry requirements in mind.

Deep fulfillment of purpose does not come when one builds their objectives around themselves, or the accumulation of stuff. This indeed leads to an empty life. King Solomon went through a period where he tried to live like this. At the end of it all he cried out, ("vanity of Vanities"), which when translated
means, (" meaningless, meaningless, all is meaningless")

• He accumulated wealth - meaningless
• He accumulated women - meaningless
• He accumulated knowledge - meaningless

His final summary of the book of Ecclesiasties helps us understand how he broke his cycle of a meaningless depressed life.He came back to his creator and began again to refocus on thinking about the next life and focussing his activities through that world view.

Ecclesiasties 12:
13..here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments,for this is the whole duty  of man.
14  For God will bring every deed into judgment,including every hidden thing,whether it is good or evil.
