Proposed New Building - Lakes Rd

The heart beat of our church is to be one that doesn't exist for itself, but exists to be a loving community in the Peel region where people of all walks of life, can be empowered and encouraged.

Our desire is to show God's love to others using the talents and abilities that He has put within the church.

The care provided at MCLC will come in all forms, ie:

  • Practical - Offering support and friendship
  • Emotional - People reaching out with an understanding heart and careful not to pre judge.
  • Spiritual - Bringing the message of God's power that is able to transform the human heart.

These thoughts are very much embedded into the thinking of our New Public place of worship
for the community.

Our new facilities are to serve as a place that reflects these values and where people can find strength and confidence for the future.

Below is a descriptive outline of our new buildings function and some aspects and features that we hope will make this facility a unique contribution to the many wonderful communities that make the amazing Peel region what it is today.

Our prayer is that this building will be one that serves the community now, and takes us forward into the future as well.

Love and blessings
Ps Phil Ayres

This will be central to building a strong community and a social atmosphere that is relaxing and enjoyable. Facilities will be developed so that those attending training, those with children and youth, or those attending services have a place to go and chill out whilst at the same time having full view of their children playing behind a clear sound proof barrier. The percolating coffee should be smelled by the general majority of those coming into the facility from main entrance.

4. Signage – The signage on the building itself should allow for maximum access to the public, any signage should be relevant to the community and the church.  The distinctive of the building should be able to be identified from a secular point of view rather than religious.

INTERNAL and EXTERNAL THEMES:

Should reflect the modern contemporary life of the community. With a sense of excellence. Achieved through:
